I have been in the salon industry for many years. In 2000, after raising my three children, I decided to get back into the profession full-time. I started to work at A Cut Above the Rest. It was then that I felt passionate about my business. When the opportunity presented itself, I was able to buy the business in 2005. In 2016 the building next to me became available. It was then the decision was made between my husband John and I that I would expand. This expansion would include spa services and a larger overall salon. Hair shows, in-salon classes, and social media, are a big part of my commitment to my clients and staff. I am happy to be in the community I was raised in and serving in one of the best industries in the world of beauty. I love to interact and connect with my clients and make them feel beautiful. I specialize in color, highlights, and haircuts.

I have been a licensed massage therapist for 25 years. I graduated from the New York Institute of Massage in Buffalo, New York in 1995. I began my massage practice with Swedish massage therapy techniques, mostly relaxation massages. Over the years, I’ve experienced with my clients’ many physical problems from stress, injuries, and weakened immune systems or auto-immune diseases. I realize I wanted to expand my practice to therapeutic massage. I took extra education classes in myofascial therapy, trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage therapy, cranial-sacred therapy, and hot stone therapy. Each and every client’s body has a story to tell and is very special. Working with all of these modalities helps me to find the answers to their story. I absolutely loved them. The enviroment was friendly and they were able to get me in right away they did a wonderful job as i have had a hard time finding a hair dresser that can cut my hair to make it look nice with how curly it is. I will be back
